UK: Bahrain-based Tadhamon Capital, an Islamic investment company, has completed the acquisition of a 50% ownership in University Campus Suffolk’s student accommodation, Athena Hall, located in Ipswich.
The transaction, which is worth GBP26.7 million (US$41 million), was concluded at a net initial yield of 7.3% and will distribute a quarterly net cash yield of 8% per annum to investors.
The acquisition was co-arranged by Tadhamon Capital and London’s real estate investment manager, Apache Capital Partners.
