Volatile financial markets and high inflation are the most pressing concerns of asset managers in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, according to our survey of the sector’s chief investment officers (CIOs). The survey indicates that CIOs expect revenue to rise as high oil prices support growth in assets under management (AUM), but also anticipate an increase in operating expenses and competition for new assets.
