OMAN: The total assets of Oman’s Islamic banks and windows have reached OMR7 billion (US$18.12 billion) at the end of June 2023, representing a 12.6% year-on-year increase, according to an official statement. Islamic banking entities in Oman provided financing of OMR5.8 billion (US$15.02 billion) at the end of June 2023, recording a growth of 12.8% compared with a year ago. Total deposits held with Islamic banks and windows also increased by 10.5% to OMR5.2 billion (US$13.46 billion).
