IRAN: The Iranian parliament has allowed the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) to trade sovereign Shariah securities on the secondary market, Financial Tribune reported citing the Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency. The measure, effective on the next fiscal year starting in March, is aimed at curbing inflation, controlling interest rates and implementing the monetary policy.
