UOB Malaysia launches Islamic facility
MALAYSIA: United Overseas Bank (UOB) Malaysia has on the 23rd January 2024 priced its debut RM500 million (US$105.68 million) Tier 2 Sukuk Wakalah, IFN has learned. This further advanced UOB Malaysia’s initiatives to diversify its investor base by tapping the Sukuk market. The paper received an ‘AA1’ rating from RAM Ratings.
