GAMBIA: The Central Bank of Gambia (CBG) on the 28th August 2019 sold three-month and six-month Sukuk Salam papers for GMD10 million (US$196,877) each as well as a one-year Sukuk Salam security worth GMD20 million (US$393,753), according to a statement. The three-month and one-year papers were oversubscribed while the six-month instrument was fully subscribed. Separately, the apex bank will be placing three-month, six-month and one-year Sukuk Salam facilities worth GMD10 million each on the 4th September.
