Bank Islam Malaysia keen to expand aboard
MALAYSIA: Bank Islam Malaysia is continuing to monitor Indonesia’s foreign equity ownership rules as it remains keen to invest in the country. According to Zukri Samat, its managing director, the bank also has plans to expand its operations abroad, especially to countries with majority Muslim populations.
