Fitch affirms BLOM Bank
LEBANON: Fitch Ratings has affirmed BLOM Bank’s support rating at ‘5’, which reflects the fact that given the low sovereign rating (‘B-’), the sovereign’s ability to provide support, although possible, cannot be wholly relied on. BLOM Bank’s Islamic unit BLOM Development Bank was established in 2005.
