BNM issues US$980 million government Sukuk
MALAYSIA: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) revealed that the country will sell RM3.5 billion (US$980 million) worth of Shariah compliant government bonds this week, on the 31st October. The securities, to mature after 10 years on the 30th October 2018, will help fund its budget deficit, said the central bank.
