Schroder Investment Management is planning to roll out a UK-domiciled Middle East fund, it has been reported. The fund will feature a heavy weighting to the Gulf region, but will also invest across North Africa and the Levant region, including Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey and Israel. Schroder already offers a dollar-denominated, Luxembourg-domiciled Middle East fund under its International Selection Fund umbrella; however, a sterling version would open the product up to the mainstream UK retail market.
