GLOBAL: Eight partners from White & Case’s (W&C) global network are heading for Latham & Watkins (Latham).
London-based energy partner Craig Nethercott and co-head of the firm’s global mining and metals group Glen Ireland will join Latham’s UK office. The two join former W&C finance partners Christopher Kandel, Sam Hamilton, Brian Conway, and Jayanthi Sadanandan, who left the firm for Latham late last week.
Other departures include corporate partner Villiers Terblanche and energy and infrastructure partner Nick Collins, who will join Latham in Abu Dhabi.
Mohammed Al-Sheikh, the head of W&C’s Riyadh office and the co-head of its Islamic finance practice, is leaving the firm with project finance partner Christopher Langdon to work in Latham’s branch in Riyadh.
In New York, corporate partner Christopher Cross and energy, infrastructure and project finance partner Clement Fondufe will head over to Latham’s New York office. White & Case is a law firm that specializes in Islamic finance.
