Dubai-based Union Properties is considering the sale of either Sukuk or bonds to finance the construction of its new MotorCity project worth around AED8 billion (US$2.18 billion), according to chairman Nasser Butti Omeir Yousef. A decision on which instrument to use will be taken by the end of this year. Union Properties will raise about AED2 billion (US$544.41 million) per year to finance the construction of the project comprising around 18,000 units in total including residential, commercial and hospitality facilities.....
