Residential boom
CapitaLand will invest US$130 million in the Shariah compliant Raffles City Bahrain Fund. The fund’s total size stands at US$350 million, and it will invest in a residential and retail projects at Bahrain Bay, CapitaLand. 10% of the fund was raised from investors in Asia, with the remainder coming from the Middle East.
