UAE: Ajman Bank reported a net profit of AED556,000 (US$43,000) in the second quarter of 2011, its first quarterly profit since its inception in 2008. The results were contributed by a 105% year-on-year growth to AED51.1 million (US$14 million) in income from investments in Islamic financing instruments.
