It’s been a good first half for CIMB Islamic as one of Malaysia’s largest Islamic banking brand is on track to not only hit all its 2018 targets, but also exceed them; however, CEO Rafe Haneef tells IFN Editor Vineeta Tan that the coming years could be slightly challenging as great changes are afoot as the bank embarks on a journey to become a sustainable bank – a journey that would see the bank making serious drastic business calls.
