INDONESIA: Bank OCBC NISP has allocated IDR100 billion (US$8.42 million) for an Islamic banking unit to be launched by the second half of the year, said the bank’s president director, Parwati Surjaudaja. The unit is likely to be fully operational by the beginning of next year with three branches in Jakarta, Surabaya and Bandung.
