MALAYSIA: CIMB Strategic Assets, a unit of CIMB Group Holdings, has established a joint venture (JV) with US private investment firm The Rohatyn Group, to manage three companies under CapAsia, a subsidiary of CIMB Strategic Assets.
CIMB Strategic and The Rohatyn Group will hold 40% and 60% respectively in Capital Advisors Partners Asia, CapAsia Islamic Infrastructure Fund (General Partner) and CapAsiaAsean Infrastructure Fund III (General Partner).
CapAsia and its subsidiary, Capital Advisors Partners Asia, manage the Asia Infrastructure Fund Partnership, the Islamic Infrastructure Fund Partnership and the South East Asian Strategic Assets Fund, with collective assets under management of around US$500 million.
