International law firm King & Spalding has hired three senior associates from Baker Botts’ Dubai office to join its Dubai office: Nabil Issa, Patrick Campos and Wael Wahbeh.
Mr Issa will focus on Islamic finance and investment and Mr Wahbeh will specialize in corporate and private equity work. Patrick Campos will focus on international project development and finance. Both Mr Issa and Mr Wahbeh are fluent in Arabic.
These appointments are to meet increasing client demand in the Islamic finance, energy, real estate, private equity and international arbitration in the MENA region.
In addition, Jawad Ali, a partner in the King & Spalding’s Islamic finance and investment practice, will relocate to Dubai from London, and Benjamin Newland, a partner in the firm’s private equity practice, will relocate from Atlanta to Dubai. Partner Isam Salah, leader of the firm’s Islamic finance and investment practice, will maintain offices in both Dubai and New York, where he is currently located.
