GLOBAL: The International Islamic Financial Market (IIFM) is planning to issue a Sukuk master agreement based on the asset backed structures in the next 12 to 18 months to facilitate the sale of Sukuk, said Khalid Hamad, chairman of the IIFM. According to Khalid, the agreement will be able to boost confidence in the global Sukuk market, as it helps to allay legal and operational risks, besides reducing the time and legal costs relating to Sukuk issuance.
