UAE: The Middle East branch of Franklin Templeton Investments is planning to launch two fixed income funds next year, upon the completion of its merger with Algebra Capital by the end of this month.
According to Andrew Ashton, its CEO, the merged local asset management firm, which will be known as Franklin Templeton Investments ME, is eyeing the global Sukuk market and plans to introduce a retail fund close to the end of the year and also a GCC-focused fixed income fund within the next 12 months.
