MALAYSIA: AmBank Group is expected to announce its new group CEO soon, acting group managing director Mohamed Azmi Mahmood told reporters at a press conference. The position has been vacant since the 1st April 2015 when then group managing director Ashok Ramamurthy stepped down to assume a senior executive role at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group. Market speculations point to Sulaiman Tahir, former CEO of CIMB Bank, as a potential candidate for the captaincy of AmBank Group.
